What to check before you use a tokenized stocks code

Tokenized equity products sit between a brokerage and a DeFi token, and their referral programs are younger than the products themselves. Most pay in points whose conversion terms are set later, so the honest answer here is often that no rate has been published.

  • Whether the reward is a fee discount, a points allocation, or nothing yet
  • The jurisdiction rules, because tokenized US equity is restricted in some countries
  • Whether the token is redeemable with the issuer or only tradable on a secondary market

Frequently asked questions

Are points the same as a fee discount?

No. Points convert into something later on terms the operator sets and can change, and their value can be zero. A fee discount applies to a charge you can see at checkout.

Can I redeem a tokenized stock for the share itself?

Only through the issuer’s primary market, which normally requires onboarding, a minimum size and availability during market hours. Secondary-market trades settle on-chain and do not involve the issuer.
