fomo (fomo.family) is a crypto trading and discovery platform operated by FOMO Labs Inc. It brings three things into one app: asset research, trader activity and trading itself. You can follow traders, read their theses and trade supported assets across supported chains from a single balance.
The part worth understanding before you fund an account is what the social layer does not do: it does not trade for you, it does not rank your future results, and it does not publish its referral terms. This guide covers the attribution, the features and the risks in that order.
You can compare it with every other deal on our crypto referral codes page.
The fine print
This link carries the ReferralLinks referral.
The code BigRightAphid is part of the link, so it travels with you when you open it and sign up. fomo does not publish referral reward terms on its public pages, so this guide does not promise a discount: treat the link as attribution until the numbers show up in your own account.
Everything about fees and eligibility lives in fomo’s Terms of Service.
What is fomo, in plain words?
Most trading apps give you charts and an order ticket. fomo adds a social layer: a feed of what other traders are doing, theses attached to tokens, leaderboards and profiles you can follow. The pitch is discovery. You see who is buying what and why, then decide for yourself.
The app covers spot trading on supported chains and perpetual futures. Perpetuals on fomo include pre-IPO, equity, crypto, index and commodity markets, with positions shown alongside your spot portfolio and take-profit and stop-loss support. The web app carries TradingView charts built in, so the same account works on a phone and on a larger screen.
One practical detail from the release notes: fomo calls its Solana cashback a "Trading rebate" in the transaction history. That is honest labelling, and it is worth remembering that a rebate is a partial refund of a fee you already paid, not profit.
How the fomo referral link works
Open the sign-up button on this page. The code BigRightAphid is encoded in the path, so the app records it when you create an account through that link. Install the mobile app or use fomo on the web, complete sign-up and the referral travels with the account rather than being typed in later.
Referral links are attached at sign-up, so arrive through the link rather than creating an account first and looking for a box to paste a code into afterwards. If you are unsure whether the referral registered, check the referral or rewards area of the app rather than assuming.
What the referral actually gives you
There are two different things bundled into the word "referral": attribution, which records who brought a new user in, and reward, which is what that attribution pays. Only the first is visible from the outside. fomo does not publish a referral percentage, a qualifying volume or a payout asset on its public site.
That has a direct consequence for how you should read referral pages, including this one. Any site quoting a specific fomo referral percentage is either reading it from inside an account or guessing. Check the app and the Terms of Service before you plan around a reward.
Following a trader is not copy trading
This is the part most people get wrong. fomo’s own documentation is explicit: following a trader does not automatically execute their orders in your account. You decide whether to place each trade. The social features help you discover traders and explore ideas, and that is where the automation stops.
The same page adds that educational content and other traders' activity can inform your research but do not guarantee a trading outcome. Read that as written. A leaderboard ranks past results, not your future ones, and a thesis is an argument rather than an instruction.
What you can trade, and where
fomo trades supported assets across supported chains from one balance, so you do not have to move funds between networks to follow an idea. Available assets, funding methods and other services can vary, and fomo asks you to review the information and costs shown before confirming a transaction.
A single balance is convenient and it concentrates risk in one place: the account that holds your spot positions also holds the collateral behind any perpetual position. Decide how much you are willing to keep there before you start trading.
Perpetuals: leverage, and who cannot use them
Perpetual futures are contracts that track an asset's price with leverage and no expiry. fomo routes them through third-party protocols and states plainly that they are not available to U.S. Persons. That is an eligibility rule, not a suggestion: if you are in the United States, the perpetual product is not for you.
Leverage cuts both ways. A move that would be a bad day on spot can liquidate a leveraged position, and liquidation happens automatically. fomo supports take-profit and stop-loss orders, which help only if you set them before the position moves against you.
The discovery feed can cost you money
The web home is a Discover page: live token tables, a watchlist strip, quick buys, floating token windows with charts and holders, and theses from Blue Chips, Most Held and Watchlist. It is a genuinely good browsing experience, and browsing is exactly when people buy things they did not plan to buy.
The same surface carries token-tax warnings on launchpad tokens. Treat that label as a minimum, not a clearance. Launchpad tokens can carry buy or sell taxes, thin liquidity, concentrated holders and contracts that restrict selling. A tax warning tells you a cost exists; it does not tell you the token is safe.
Hidden clans show a visibility indicator, and the mobile token feed has a minimum swap-size filter. Both are useful if you want to cut noise: filter out dust trades before you read the feed as a signal.
How to start without giving money away
Use fomo.family typed into the address bar, or the link on this page, and check the domain before you sign in or fund anything. Referral links are also a favorite disguise for phishing pages, so a link that looks like fomo but lives on another domain is the one to close.
Read the Terms of Service once. They cover eligibility, transaction terms and the fees that apply, and fees are exactly the part a social feed will never explain to you. Support runs through support@fomo.family, and fomo lists its official X, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn profiles on the site.
Nobody legitimate needs your seed phrase or your exchange password, in any app.
Then start small. Fund a modest amount, place one trade you understand, and only add size once you have seen how fees, rebates and settlement actually appear in your own history.
Frequently asked questions
What is the fomo referral code?
The ReferralLinks code is BigRightAphid, and it is built into the sign-up button on this page. Open that link and sign up, and the referral travels with the account.
Does following a trader on fomo copy their trades?
No. fomo’s documentation says following a trader does not automatically execute their orders in your account. You decide whether to place each trade; the feed is for discovery and research.
How much does the fomo referral link pay?
fomo does not publish referral reward terms on its public pages, so the amount is unknown from the outside. Check the app and the Terms of Service rather than trusting a percentage quoted by a third-party site.
What can I trade on fomo?
Supported assets across supported chains from one balance, plus perpetual futures on pre-IPO, equity, crypto, index and commodity markets. Available assets and funding methods can vary, and perpetuals are provided by third-party protocols.
Are fomo perpetuals available in the U.S.?
No. fomo states that perpetuals are provided by third-party protocols and are not available to U.S. Persons. Spot availability and eligibility are governed by fomo’s Terms of Service.
Before you commit
These answers do not depend on the current rate, so they stay true when the numbers above them move.
How to check that the fomo code actually applied
Check on the platform, not on a code list. Open fomo.family from its own domain, start the sign-up (or the first deposit) and read the confirmation screen before you approve anything.
A referral that registered shows up as one of three things: a reduced fee in the order preview, a rebate line in the account, or a visible referral tag next to your address.
If none of the three is there, stop and reopen the link from this page instead of signing up and looking for a code field afterwards.
Almost every program in this list attaches the referral at registration only; a code typed later, or a page refreshed later, cannot retroactively claim an account that was created without one. This site re-tests each flow by hand and prints the date in the sidebar.
How we test codes describes what that involves.
What happens if the fomo program changes or ends
Two different things end at two different times. The terms you signed up under usually keep applying to your account while the program runs, and the platform can change those terms with notice, so a rate you earned last month is not a rate you are owed next month.
When a program ends, the code field stops accepting new codes and new sign-ups stop being attributed; existing balances revert to the standard rate on the platform’s own schedule.
Commission already credited is the platform’s obligation to the person who referred you, not something this site can recover or guarantee. If a page here is out of date, it is because the change has not been re-checked yet, not because the number was invented: every figure carries the date it was last confirmed.
